PROJECT MANAGER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE/NATURAL RESOURCES DIVISION
EnviroSystems Management, Inc. is a small, fast-growing environmental consulting company headquartered in Northern Arizona and serving the American Southwest. We complete contract work throughout the Four Corner states in the fields of environmental regulatory compliance and permitting and cultural and natural resources management. Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources Planning, Biology, Forestry or related field required. Advanced degree preferred and at least 5-7 years of professional experience is required.

Professional Requirements

This is a mid-level management position with a small but healthy growing firm with potential for professional growth. The position reports directly to Natural Resources Program Director. The successful candidate will work with limited supervision and needs to be a team player to work with other Senior staff in carrying the company into the future. Existing, regionally relevant client contacts a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial performance of program & individual projects & effectively coordinate with clients & staff
  • Seek out & respond to proposal opportunities & assist other senior management staff with business development & marketing efforts
  • Responsible for all aspects of field research, data collection, inventory, analyses, & report production
  • Identify regulatory requirements
  • Review & compile environmental data pertinent to project requirements
  • Endangered species surveys, mitigation, & monitoring
  • High quality technical compliance reporting
  • Conducting background research & data collection on land use & environmental topics
  • Coordinate with Cultural Resources Program Lead and GIS Department
  • Coordinate with agency personnel during project performance
  • Facilitate Public Involvement Programs

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations including but not limited to NEPA, CWA, CAA, ESA, NHPA
  • USFWS permitted for MSO, SWFL, desert tortoise, etc., a plus
  • Ability to assess environmental quality and potential impacts
  • Demonstrate previous NEPA authorship
  • Experience in environmental compliance, T&E species surveys, and sensitive resource issues
  • Detail oriented and strong logistical capabilities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Exceptional technical writing skills and a record of completing technical reports in a timely fashion
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience in writing concise regulatory analyses
  • Experience with natural resources permitting for construction projects
  • Ability to function in a loosely structured environment without strict supervision
